This version introduces a settings pane with a few configurable settings. These should help to make Cathode more flexible for more people, and there will be more settings added in the future.

More useful tooltips!

More useful tooltips!

The tooltips for the frames are more useful not useless now as well! In the future the text will likely be replaced with icons, but for now at least you can tell what each frame should be used for.

The next version will focus on more feature parity with Veadotube: animations! One of my favorite parts of Veadotube is being able to add some movement to my otherwise static character. Currently, Cathode only supports this when going from the mouth-closed to mouth-open states, and that animation also isn’t customizable at all. My goal for the next version is to make that animation configurable, and add various idle animations similar to how Veadotube does it. I’m still pretty busy with school and work, but I would like to get the next minor version out by the end of the year. That seems like an attainable goal, but only time will tell :)

Until then, keep tubin!
