Hi there! Jeez, it’s been a while, huh?
The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that the next version of Cathode did not, in fact, come out before the endf of 2022. Indeed it seems like very little has been done since I made that blog post. To make a boring story short, balancing school and work ended up being more work than I had thought, and really limited the amount of time I had to work on any side projects, Cathode included. With that behind me for the time being, and some new ideas on how to solve some of the issues I’d encountered surrounding custom animations, I intend to get back to work on Cathode over the next month or two.
